Round-up of Facebook tribute comments from industry friends:

Arthur Messina, CEO of Create-A-Card: This is such sad news. I'm so happy he was able to see the Cubs win the World Series in his lifetime. Kevin Doublin and I shared many conversations about baseball over the years. Even though I was a Proud Met Fan. I also had the opportunity to meet him in person at the ILA meeting/show in Chicago. It was a good time for both of us. His fondness of FB allowed him to make a lot of friends over the past year. I very happy to say I knew Kevin Doublin and could call him a FRIEND. Kevin you will be missed.

Mike Denning, owner, Elegant Limousines, Ormond Beach, Fla.: No !!! Why !!! Kevin was such a nice man. Never a bad thing to say. He was always positive. We will miss you Kevin Doublin. It really makes me sad we never got to meet you in person. God bless Kevin and his family.

Paula DeBiasi, president, Chicago CoachWorks: I am so sad to read this. He was a gentleman in every way and always went out of his way to chat with me, He will be remembered in our prayers and hearts

Sal Milazzo, owner, Signature Transportation Group, Chicago: Good man! Big heart! He, and only those true Cubs fans like him, was the reason I rooted for them. I will never forget his first video Bill convinced him to post. We'll miss you Kev! Our industry will miss you!

Tracy Hodge Raimer, partner/founder, Chicago's Transportation Group: I am so saddened to hear this. Kevin was so passionate of our industry and not afraid to stand up for what he believed in. So grateful I was able to meet Kevin this past year, have many conversations and I knew there was a deeper reason for the Cubbies winning the World Series! It was for you Kevin! RIP my friend. Prayers and thoughts to your family and friends.
