LCT Leadership Summit Heads To Hip Hotel, Edgy Nightclub

Posted on February 12, 2014

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — The historic Eden Roc Miami Beach Hotel along the South Beach oceanfront will host the 13th annual LCT Leadership Summit on May 18-20, LCT announced this week.

This will be the first Summit held at the storied resort hotel, where limousine operators will mix deep thoughts, networking and recreation for an eclectic executive conference experience.

Schedules and speakers are still in the works, but this year’s Summit will feature multiple leadership sessions and keynote presentations along with the usual beach volleyball, cocktail making contest, deep sea fishing and golf. Networking events will involve a first-ever “dine-around” event with attendees divided into groups that will sample Miami’s finest haute international cuisine.

Of course, what is a Summit without pounding, pulsating nightclubs? The premiere Summit party will be held May 18 at the infamous E11Even cabaret style nightclub known for its vibe of forbidden nocturnal chic. Club website and promo video here.

For more than 50 years, the Eden Roc Miami Beach has graced Miami Beach’s Golden Mile at 45th Street and Collins Avenue. Its 1950s and 60s heyday established it not only as a legendary landmark, but as a premier resort property sought by many of the nation’s top entertainers and celebrities. Today, the Eden Roc reigns as the Grande Dame of Miami Beach, luring some of the happening crowd away from South Beach, according to New York Magazine.

The LCT Leadership Summit, a one-of-a-kind elite retreat-style conference for the global limousine industry, is noted for its varied high-end locations, including the Ritz-Carlton South Beach which hosted the event in 2013, 2011 and 2008; the El Conquistador Resort in Puerto Rico in 2012; the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago in 2010; and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Miami in 2007. The event is limited to about 100-120 operators to create an intimate, retreat-style atmosphere.

Registration information to come, but first, the industry heads to the 2014 International LCT Show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas Feb. 16-18.
