BOSTON/ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — One of the limousine industry’s newest and most influential executives will meet and greet operators and attendees at the LCT Show East in Atlantic City next week.
Lisa Censullo joined BostonCoach earlier this month as vice president to lead BostonCoach’s 400-plus affiliated chauffeured service providers. She also will head Best of Boston, a destination management company owned by BostonCoach. This is not her first role in the limousine industry, however, since she worked as director of MIS at Boston Coach from 1993-1997.
“I am very excited to start this new challenge and look forward to working with the team to grow the business, provide outstanding experiences for our clients and build and sustain rewarding relationships for our affiliates,” Censullo said in an Oct. 17 press release. “I couldn’t be happier to embark on this new journey.”
Censullo plans to attend the three-day Show Oct. 27-29 being held at Caesars Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Convention Center, during which she will meet informally one-on-one with various BostonCoach affiliate providers. She also will help host a BostonCoach hospitality suite Sunday evening from 9 p.m. to midnight in the Ocean Tower of Caesars.
In her executive positions, Censullo is taking on a new company role to help grow the affiliate network worldwide as well as the Best of Boston events business. Boston Coach was acquired by Harrison Global in a deal that closed on July 8. The two comanies are in the process of merging operations under the prestigious BostonCoach brand. After the acquisition, Harrison Global ranked No. 6 on LCT’s annual 50 Largest Fleets List, with 405 vehicles.
LCT article: New Boston Coach Owners Plan To Enhance The Brand
Censullo brings to BostonCoach her most recent experience as COO of Esquire Deposition Solutions in Atlanta, the largest court reporting firm in the U.S., where she worked from 2007-2012. In an interview this week, Censullo told LCT she is drawing upon her extensive technology, management and efficiency expertise to develop new offerings for BostonCoach clients and affiliates.
Overseeing a company with more than 1,000 affiliated court reporters involves many of the same logistics and dynamics as overseeing a chauffeured transportation network, Censullo said.
“Although court reporters are not chauffeurs, I understand the importance of communication and working together to serve high-end demanding clients,” Censullo said. “I understood what they needed in order to deliver the highest quality service to clients. The affiliate partner program at BostonCoach is similar. You have to truly have a partnership.”
LCT Magazine will have more details about Censullo’s plans this quarter in the December issue news section. Meanwhile, LCT Show East attendees are encouraged to “re-welcome” Censullo to the limousine industry.
