REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Mosaic Global Transportation  is commemorating Breast Cancer Awareness Month for all of October by having chauffeurs wear pink ties instead of the regular black ties.

Even President/CEO Maurice Brewster has committed to wearing pink every day in the month of October.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same.

“Breast Cancer has a way of affecting everyone we know and love,"  said Brewster, who runs the company with wife and COO Rhonda Brewster. "Progress has been made; however, we still have a long way to go.”

As the father of four daughters, Maurice says this cause is personal for him, and he wants to encourage wider support among clients and in his local business community. For the past five years, Mosaic Global Transportation has supported Bras for the Cause and will continue to sponsor its annual events.
