GREAT FALLS, Va. — A Maryland man who works as a chauffeur around the Washington, D.C. is one of three people who won $1 million in the Virginia New Year’s Millionaire Raffle.

Warner Ashby bought the winning ticket at a Seven-Eleven convenience store in Great Falls, Va. He has been a chauffeur for nearly 20 years and plans to continue working, despite taking a day off to collect his check. He has no immediate plans to spend the money, although he says he will visit his daughter and granddaughter in Tennessee and may take a trip to Hawaii.
