CARDIFF, Wales — The winner of the United Kingdom’s Miss Limo beauty pageant 2012 was revealed as Gemma Roberts from the Vale of Glamorgan. The announcement came at a gala dinner at the five-star Celtic Manor Resort as part of the annual Transport Broker Awards ceremony. The 21-year-old is a student in the Sports and Psychology program at the University of Wales, Newport. She works part-time as a lifeguard and part-time at the Cardiff Ice Rink. She was crowned Miss Limo 2012 by current Miss Universe Great Britain, Chloe-Beth Morgan.

Four women were selected by an independent panel of judges as finalists for the Miss Limo title including Kirstie McGrath, who came in fourth place, Gemma Cowtan, who was runner up in third place, and second place was awarded to Michelle Chamberlain. The judges were impressed by Roberts’ “beauty queen looks, intelligence and the ability to express herself articulately.”

She will be the face of Limo Broker’s stretch Audi R8 limousine and took home prizes including a holiday for two, £500 in cash, a custom website by Web Leasing, press releases for promotion, and a professional photo shoot by Sadha Video.
