Bobit Business Media Sets Up Interim NLA Management Team

MARLTON, N.J. — Bobit Business Media has selected a team of administrative professionals to handle the logistics and services of the National Limousine Association.

The team was assembled Feb. 3 by LCT Publisher and BBM-NLA Corporate Liaison Sara Eastwood following the departure of executive director Philip Jagiela on Jan. 29.

BBM administers the back office functions of the NLA based on a 14-year management contract that the NLA has with BBM. BBM and the NLA board of directors are looking for a permanent executive director and will further review candidates March 15 in Las Vegas before the 2015 International LCT Show.

The new team will ensure delivery of all services required of the contract.

  • Kyle Hammerschmidt, the NLA deputy executive director, has replaced Philip Jagiela on an interim basis. Hammerschmidt will work directly with the NLA President on committee matters, financial affairs, governance, and overall office operations. [email protected]
  • Megan Hogue has assumed a new role created for the association as meetings and conferences manager. She is responsible for organizing all educational programs, board of director meetings, the Day on the Hill event and all Harold Berkman Foundation Charity Fundraiser events. She is also responsible for the NLA trade show booth logistics. Hogue, who has limo tradeshow experience, worked with LCT at the LCT-NLA Show East in Atlantic City, Oct. 19-21, 2014.   • Julie Hennessey has assumed a new role created for the association.She is the sponsorship and advertising sales manager. She is the point of contact for educational sponsorships, affinity programs, directory ads, newsletter sponsorships, web advertising and e-promotions. Hennessey worked as an advertising sales manager for LCT Magazine from 2008 to 2010. [email protected]
  • John Torrence will remain membership services coordinator. He is the point of contact for all membership questions and renewal needs. However, his job has been expanded to include media/marketing services. John is responsible for marketing material including the LimoScene digital newsletter, the NLA e-newsletter, the NLA Facebook page, all other social media content, website content, and directory listings. The NLA staff (and some of the support department personnel) will be on hand at the upcoming International LCT Show, coming to The Venetian/The Palazzo in Las Vegas on March 16-18. All current NLA members receive a special 10% discount on registration as long as it is done in advance.
