TORRANCE, Calif. — The deadline for the annual LCT Operator of the Year Awards has been extended to Friday, Jan. 23. Limo operations from around the world are eligible to enter the leading business awards program for the chauffeured transportation industry, which is taking applications now online.

The 2015 Operator of the Year Award program includes Operators of the Year in the 1-10, 11-30, 31-50, and 51+ vehicles categories; Charter and Tour Bus Operator of the Year, and Global Operator of the Year.

The Association Award of Excellence recognizes a state, city, or regional limousine industry trade group formally affiliated with the National Limousine Association. Association Award of Excellence submissions should be sent to LCT East Coast editor Tom Halligan at [email protected].

OOY submissions can be done online, with the form and instructions available at the top of the LCTMag.com website or at www.lctmag.com/pagew/41681/operator-of-the-year-contest-form. Questions: Please contact LCT editor Martin Romjue at [email protected] or (310) 533-2489.

One key change for the submissions process is the option for applicants to attach documents supporting their submissions, such as marketing samples, chauffeur training policies, loss-run statements, etc. The “attach option” is available at the bottom of the online form.

The deadline for all submissions is: Friday, Jan. 23, 2015, 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

Finalists will be selected after Jan. 23. Names of finalists will be kept confidential throughout the contest process and there will be no advance publicity. Winners ONLY will be announced and given a framed certificate Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Annual LCT Awards Gala during the 2015 International LCT Show at the Venetian & Palazzo Resort Hotel Casinos, Las Vegas, Nev. (www.lctshow.com).
