TAMPA, Fla. — The upcoming reality series “Limo Bob” tells the story of the daily life of the title character, a limousine mogul from Illinois and his cast of off-beat co-workers, friends and family.
"Limo Bob" aired last summer on TRU-TV and proved an immediate hit. So plans were begun to make "Limo Bob" a regular show. During the last year, LIMO BOB has been seen on TruTV's hit reality show "HARDCORE PAWN," which gained interest for future television deals with him.
LIMO BOB, who brands himself as "Da Limo King," owns an Illinois company that sells, leases, refurbishes and tricks up limousines. The reality show documents his life as he comes into contact with all sorts of interesting characters and customers.
In the 2000s, Limo Bob raised his profile in the chauffeured transportation industry as an operator/entrepreneur who builds, sells, and rents out some of the longest, most luxurious and creatively designed limousines in the world.
He is the owner of the Guinness Book of World Records' longest limousine in the world, at about 100 feet in length.
Limo Bob appeared at the 2011 International LCT Show in Las Vegas this year, most notably his foray onto the dance floor of the “Work Hard, Play Harder” industry party on Feb. 14. Limo Bob and a female companion were filmed by a cameraman as they stepped and pulsated to a mix of hip-hop and rap songs as his burly bodyguard stood nearby. Several industry attendees had their pictures taken with him afterward.
