A WINNING COMBO: The National Limousine Association offers a relaxed wine-tasting and networking event Sunday night, Feb. 13 to get attendees ready for the International LCT Show and raise money for good causes.
LAS VEGAS — What are you doing the Sunday night before the BIG SHOW?
That’s a big question for the industry each year on an evening when operators and attendees arrive in Las Vegas and are then left to their own social devices, for better or worse.
This year, the NATIONAL LIMOUSINE ASSOCIATION is hosting a fund-raiser and networking wine-and-cheese event from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the PARIS LAS VEGAS, site of the 2011 INTERNATIONAL LCT SHOW Feb. 14-16.
This event is the best way to begin the LCT Show experience, and is the “info hotspot” for finding out where all the suite parties are and for getting into the business loop with chauffeured transportation operators from all states and with all manner of fleets. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be provided along with diverse offerings of global wines.
Monies raised will go via the HAROLD BERKMAN FOUNDATION to such charities as FISHER HOUSE FOUNDATION, AIR CHARITY NETWORK/ANGEL FLIGHT, REBUILDING TOGETHER NEW ORLEANS, and ALLIANCE FOR LUPUS RESEARCH.
An attendance/donation ticket costs $150 per person; $125 per person in a couple or twosome; and $100 per person for groups of three or more from the same company. All attendees may sample as many different wines — and as often —as they want.
[NOTE: High-end wines in most upscale restaurants cost about $10 to $25 per glass. The NLA ticket price provides maximum value for wine, food, charity donations, and networking connections, i.e. new business opps].
