SUMMARY: A Long Island, N.Y. operator uses his fleet as a convoy to deliver 60 turkeys to annual holiday food drive.

HICKSVILLE, N.Y. — ULTIMATE CLASS LIMOUSINE WORLDWIDE, a Long Island luxury ground transportation company, and its owner Matt Silver marked the beginning of the holiday season by putting his fleet of stretch and hybrid limousines to good use.

A caravan of more than a dozen Ultimate vehicles delivered a donation of 60 turkeys to support Island Harvest’s Annual Holiday Season Food Drive. ISLAND HARVEST is Long Island’s largest hunger relief organization.

“Giving back to the community has always been important to me and we wanted to help attract some attention to the great work Island Harvest does locally here on Long Island,” said Silver, in a statement. “Our donation is a small part of the effort local hunger relief organizations do year round and we hope that our participation inspires others to contribute and support their great mission.”

Silver belongs to the National Limousine Association and is the vice president of the Long Island Limousine Association (LILA). He is actively involved with dozens of charities across Long Island. Silver also is a co-founder of the Long Island Fight For Charity which has raised more than $500,000 for Long Island not-for-profit organizations.
