DETROIT — Kim Shanahan assumed the position of marketing manager for DTS, STS and professional vehicles this month.

Shanahan replaces Kurt Ghering and is responsible for strategic market planning and execution for these vehicles. Ghering is now marketing manager on the CTS platform.

Shanahan has held a number of assignments in her 20-year General Motors career. Previous assignments include: Hummer product manager, Hummer and SAAB marketing manager, distribution and cross vehicle planning with GM’s International Product Center, and working at Pontiac East Assembly Plant.

“The livery and funeral products are integral to Cadillac’s portfolio,” Shanahan said. “I am anxious to learn more about the industry and to meet our customers at the national trade shows. There is new energy at Cadillac as we re-invent this great luxury brand.”

Shanahan earned a bachelor's degree in material and logistics management from Michigan State University and a master's degree in business administration from Wayne State University.

Kim Shanahan can be reached at [email protected] or by phone at (313) 665-2440. She will be at the Cadillac display on the trade show floor of the International LCT Show in Las Vegas Jan. 25-27.
