SPRINGFIELD, MO — Classic Costume Company, Inc. a business development, marketing, and manufacturing conglomerate, has hired Tom Fielding as its new vice president of sales and marketing, the company said in a Sept. 1 statement.

With more than 20 years of experience in the limousine industry, Fielding worked several of the industry's top coach builders, including the last 10 years as sales and marketing manager at Executive Coach Builders. Springfield-based ECB is ranked as the second largest limousine manufacturer in the world. Fielding also has extensive knowledge of limousine manufacturing.

Fielding will be working with Lisa Catterson, president of Imperial Coach Works, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CCUC, Inc.

Fielding has been highlighted in industry trade publications such as LCT for his opinions and expertise. He also has been a fixture on LCT trade show floors for many years, mingling with industry figures and leading his show floor sales team.

His career has been focused on understanding and improving the limousine industry, especially through his longstanding relationship with Ford Motor Company and its the Quality Vehicle Manufacturer (QVM). ECB previously has been cited as the Ford QVM SUV coachbuilder of the year.

"I'm very excited about the opportunities that lay ahead," Fielding said in a statement. "It's a privilege to be part of this forward-thinking organization.”

CCUC’s focus is to take advantage of industry market demand to provide 100% electric vehicle and powertrain technologies. The company plans to build a dominating presence in the aftermarket automotive up-fitter segment, including "Pure Electric" vehicles, limousines, other livery, specialty fleet, classic automobiles and custom restorations. CCUC expects to have the first zero emissions, "Pure Electric" livery vehicle ready to unveil by first quarter of 2010. Its strategy is to offer and expand its line of products, eventually revolutionizing the specialty automotive vehicle market.

CCUC plans to work through its two subsidiaries, Imperial Coach Works, Inc. and Plug-In Motors, Inc. Imperial Coach Works, Inc. and its custom manufacturing division Imperial Coach Builders, Inc., is a limousine and specialty vehicle maker that operates out of a 60,000-sq/ft facility in Springfield, MO.
