Cadillac Gets New Manager Of Professional Vehicle Program

Posted on April 29, 2009 by LCT Staff

DETROIT — Ray Bush assumed the position of program manager for the Cadillac Professional Vehicle Program last week as a result of GM’s recent restructuring. Bush replaces Connie Rae Montoya and is responsible for the business planning and daily operations for Cadillac Professional Vehicle activities.

Montoya lost her position in a restructuring at GM that resulted in 1,600 job losses last week. GM and the U.S. auto industry are facing unprecedented economic challenges that could lead to further layoffs next month.

Bush has held a number of marketing and planning assignments since joining GM in 1986. Previous assignments include positions in fleet and commercial operations, Cadillac marketing, advanced technology vehicles, midsize truck planning, and Pontiac marketing.

“The livery and funeral products are integral to General Motors’ specialty vehicle portfolio. I am anxious to learn about the industry and to meet our customers,” Bush said.

Bush earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan in 1979, and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan in 1984.

Ray Bush can be reached at Raymond.t.bush@gm.com or at (313) 667-8682.
