BOSTON — The New England Livery Association (NELA) held its day-long 14th Annual Chauffeur Appreciation Day on July 17 at Boston’s Logan International Airport, complete with tables and tents, grilled food and entertainment. Various raffles were held giving away Red Sox tickets, oil change gift cards and more.

Each year the event is held in the airport limo pool lot where chauffeurs are recognized for their service and professionalism. Members of the NELA and volunteers take the day off to set up the event, man grills and serve as short-order cooks and waiters. Some 1,000 meals were served and as always, everyone had a great time.

This year’s event sponsors included:

Gold sponsors: Acton Toyota of Littleton, Dav El/Boston Coach, Allied Technologies Inc., Gullotti Insurance Agency, and Sullivan Tire and Auto Service.

Silver sponsors: A.A. Metro Transportation, Don Brown Bus Sales, Black Tie Limousine, Stone Transportation Agency, LTI Worldwide Limousine, and Carey Boston. Bronze sponsors: ARM Associates Inc., ETS/Exceptional Limo, Able Limousine, Transport The People, and BeDriven.com.

LA Limousine was the grill sponsor, and raffle sponsors were Lighthouse Insurance Agency, Avery Insurance Agency, and Black Tie Limousine.

Entertainment and great food were all part of Thursday’s 14th Annual Chauffeur Appreciation Day, sponsored by the New England Livery Association.
