What is unique about chauffeured services in your nation compared to the U.S.?
Chauffeured services in Russia have a shorter history compared to that of U.S. chauffeured service. This kind of service started to develop in early 2000, and is still in a stage of growing and developing. People want to have the good Western mentality of service in Russia, which was difficult to find 10 to 15 years ago. Our company provides international standard services for our clients that correspond with Russian reality.
What are key challenges of your service area/region?
The main key challenges are huge traffic jams in Moscow. Sometimes roads are blocked because of the government cars, with police giving them the ‘green line’ the whole way. There are problems with parking in Moscow and St. Petersburg streets, hotels and sometimes at the airports.
What qualities do you look for in a U.S. affiliate?
We are looking for affiliates who are working with corporate, executive and business clients [based on] international standards of service.
What specific rules or procedures do U.S. operators need to be aware of when affiliating with operators in
Russia?
All payments via credit card will be charged in rubles due to Russian law.
