Krystal Clear

Posted on May 1, 2002 by LCT Staff - Also by this author

Since 1983, Krystal Enterprises has focused on quality products, craftsmanship and listening to client needs to build a solid reputation in the industry. The company prides itself on the fact that customers can step into any Krystal vehicle and immediately know it?s a Krystal by the features, amenities and benefits all of the vehicles offer.

Several years ago, Krystal introduced its Limo Bus, and due to client demand and feedback, several distinctive changes have been made to the 2002 special edition version. ?Now as you walk into the bus, you notice that we have a partition between the clients and the chauffeur,? says Kaye Marseilles, sales manager for Krystal. ?The controls are at the clients? fingertips while they are seated. Also, we have storage space under the seats for birthday gifts, purses, or anything else clients might bring on board for their ride.?

The newly-designed seats can hold 18 to 20 people comfortably, and the international model easily fits 25 to 27 people. The coachbuilder can help clients with any special seating capacity needs that they may have. Marseilles says that the seating capacity affords operators market diversification.

?Corporate meetings can be held in the bus, and night-on-the-town clients love the fact that everyone gets to ride together,? Marseilles says. ?They?re not crawling on their hands and knees to get in. We?ve made it easier for our clients? needs. They walk in and they enjoy the ride. When people enjoy something, they come back and they tell their friends about it. The best form of advertising is word-of-mouth.?

Additional interior amenities include a DVD player, big screen television, stackable CD player, surround sound system, laser lights, strobe lights and a fog machine. ?We also offer large ice bins so clients can bring along items they want to keep cold,? Marseilles says. Enhanced safety features include handrails on each side for easier access to enter and exit the vehicle, and lighted steps for better visibility.

Warranty packages include a one-year warranty with unlimited miles from the date of purchase to be free from defects in material and workmanship. The body structure is covered for five years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. Electronic parts are warranted by the original manufacturer.

Krystal Enterprises is based at a 200,000-square-foot facility in Brea, Calif. The facility includes three separate production assembly lines, six manufacturing operations, office and sales staff, a service department, parts warehouse, and an expansive showroom.
