Posted on March 22, 2016

The United Motorcoach Association (UMA), in an effort to nationally recognize one outstanding motorcoach company annually, has honored Storer Transportation of San Francisco with its 2016 Vision Award (Large Operator Category). This award is given to one company in the nation who embodies the vision and commitment to lead the motorcoach industry into the future.

Voted on by industry peers, representatives of UMA's 900 coach company members, 250 manufacturer and supplier associate members, the Vision Award recipient must be regarded as the best and the brightest in the industry. Sound business practices, impeccable safety records, innovative operations approach, social responsibility, community dedication, industry leading vision and breakthroughs are among the attributes the Vision Award recipient must possess. Storer was noted upon receiving the award as a company which elevates the standards for all motorcoach companies as well as the overall profile of the motorcoach industry as a whole.

Storer is a fourth generation, family-owned business which has built it's 64-year reputation on safety, high quality, and dependable services. "At Storer, safety is without a doubt the most important aspect of our transportation services, as we are entrusted in transporting life's most precious cargo," said President & CEO Donald Storer, the companies third generation leader, as he accepted the award on behalf of the company at the annual UMA Motorcoach Expo event in Atlanta, Georgia.
