ORMOND BEACH, Fla. — A limousine service and wedding planning company that was forced to scale back its staff and operations during the Great Recession is back on the growth track, its owners say.

Elegant Limousines & Wedding Services recently moved into a 3,000-square-foot space at 821 N. U.S. 1 in Ormond Beach that is double the size of its previous location, which was also in the city along U.S. 1.

“We had to evolve big-time to survive the recession,” said Marlo Denning.

The steps the couple took to keep their business going included moving it from a large leased building in Bunnell to their Palm Coast home, and selling one of their three limousines.
