Kamran Akran, owner of Krystal Limousines in Coventry, England, got the idea for the modified Mini, when he read about a custom car garage in Las Vegas, and after thinking about would be an appropriately British vehicle, he had a four-year-old Mini Cooper S shipped over to the US.
Akran paid approximately $104,000 for the makeover, but so far the cost has been worth.
“The Mini is a British classic — it is recognized around the world. Now we have the longest one on the planet,” Akran told the Daily Mail.
