LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- Platinum LV Transportation and Event Transportation are holding a grand opening on Sept. 17 and introducing a new fleet of luxury and executive transportation vehicles to the greater Las Vegas area.

Platinum LV and Event Transportation are managed locally by Principal Kellie McKinley, vice president and general manager, with a staff of trained transportation professionals. With more than 85 years of combined management experience, McKinley and the Platinum LV and Event team will focus on customer service, fleet quality and safety. Event and Platinum LV’s new fleet of vehicles includes a 17-passenger executive coach, a 29-passenger forward facing coach, and a luxurious 29-passenger limo coach. The company uses an advanced dispatch and billing software system, which fully integrates all facets of service including vehicle dispatch, reservations, on-line booking, customer profiles, flight tracking, vehicle GPS, and two way chauffeur communication, allowing it to manage every aspect of a client run.

Platinum LV and Event Transportation are the result of a partnership between McKinley and the owners of Metro Cars, which is the largest transportation company in Michigan and one of the largest in North America. This partnership grants Platinum LV and Event access to Metro Cars’ brand, vehicle buying power, its worldwide transportation affiliate network, and its corporate support systems.  Metro Cars now can offer its Michigan clients improved direct service in Las Vegas and the West Coast.

“Starting out with Metro Cars at our side provides us advantages other companies just can’t offer” McKinley said.

Platinum LV Transportation and Event Transportation will work closely with Destination Management Companies, event planners, global transportation companies, golf courses, hotels, Fortune 500 corporations, out-of-state limousine affiliates, and McCarran International Airport and its four private Jet airfields.

Platinum LV Transportation and Event Transportation are certified by the Nevada Transportation Services Authority, (CPCN #2166 and CPCN #1265, respectively) and all of its vehicles are fully insured and comply with all city, county, state and federal regulations. Platinum LV and Event Transportation are members of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Las Vegas Territory, Destination Services Association of Las Vegas, and the National Limousine Association.

The new partners will hold an Open House celebration on Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Food and beverages will be served. A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. Information: [email protected] or (702) 802-6500.
