LCT Show East Offers ABA Bus Clinic on Crisis Communication

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — If you’re in the transportation business, an accident or crisis can happen at any time. Do you know what to do when the media begins calling? Well you can learn at LCT Show East at a seminar on crisis communication on Oct. 29 to be given by the American Bus Association’s Dan Ronan.

It will focus on preparing operators with the steps they need to get ahead of the information highway and damage control before an incident goes viral through passenger uploaded pictures and video accessible by the media.

The seminar will detail why it is important to work with the media on your terms and be transparent about your process in helping passengers who have been displaced, injured, or in the most extreme cases, dealing with the survivors when there has been a fatality.

Ronan will outline why it is so critical for companies to defend themselves in the media especially if the company has a good, solid reputation and it appears the accident may not have been their fault or the media is reporting inaccurate information.

From his experience of having assisted numerous companies through high profile accidents, most of which were not their fault, Ronan brings an expertise that can help any limo operator who has to deal with a fleet vehicle accident.
