SALISBURY, Mass.— For husband and wife operators Georgieanna and Brion Svenson, they faced a dilemma when forced to replace their 2008 Lincoln Town Car 120” stretch — should they go with the MKT Town Car stretch, or should they wait to see if a Lincoln MKS sedan stretch comes out?
“Because I really love the MKS,” says Georgieanna, “but when it came down to it, the MKT is just so good, that even if they stretch the MKS, we’ll just have to get another one.”
Four Star Limousine, which serves areas of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, is thrilled about the latest edition to the fleet, purchased from Royale Limousine Manufacturers in nearby Haverhill, Mass.
“We actually started thinking about this last year when we first saw the MKT stretch at the shows,” Georgieanna says. “We looked closely at the trunk capacity, seating arrangements, and chauffeur features, and really were excited to move forward.”
The Svensons already had been pleased with the standard MKT for its head and leg room, and for its ease of maintenance. They have not been disappointed with the amenities of the stretch they received on June 27.
“In my opinion, the MKT has a lot of advantages over the Town Car, one being the all-wheel drive which is great for driving in the snow here in the winter,” Georgieanna says.
And the response from customers has been immediate. The new MKT stretch has been booked solid since arrival, chauffeuring weddings and concert evenings, and the clients frequently respond back saying it’s a gorgeous addition to the fleet.
Four Star Limousine chauffeurs also have sung its praises, teasing the owners that they need to buy another one as soon as possible. “I think customers who don’t even know about limousines know this is not a traditional limo and that it’s unique,” Georgieanna adds.
And the Svensons give much credit to Royale Coach Builders and its longtime sales rep Tom Quill, for being a great partner in the purchase. They have been partnering with Quill for nearly 10 years and have nothing but respect and kind words for him.
Gerogieanna says that initially she was worried about adding the vehicle because of the stigma amongst many operators of the MKT’s style. But she has not had any issues at all with appeal and is a big fan of the new addition. “I can’t even tell you how proud I am of this car,” she says. “I love it and I never get like that about the fleet.”
