WOODBRIDGE, N.J. — GEM Limousine Worldwide put two new Mercedes Sprinter vans into fleet service this week to meet growing customer demands.
The new Mercedes Sprinter Van accommodates up to eight executives for a business trip, or can also be a luxurious ride for a fun night out on the town.
With a standing height of 6 feet 4 inches, the van has ample space for passenger comfort and even more return on business, helping evolve companies stay head and shoulders above competition.
“We’re always looking for new ways to expand our fleet in a way that will help our customers find what they’re looking for,” said Paula Dellaluna, vice president of marketing for GEM, in a press release. “The Mercedes Sprinter van really encompasses the best of both worlds for our clientele.”
The Sprinter vans also serve as new limousines, providing an alternative to the traditional sedan stretch, GEM CEO Barbara Chirico told LCT on Tuesday. "We're hoping to get some of our limousine customers to use the Sprinters," she said. "We can't put stretches on many corporate clients' properties. . . but we can show them a savings with the Sprinter, compared to three or four sedans."
GEM operates about 100-110 vehicles, including three Krystal Lincoln Town Car stretch limousines that it plans to keep in the fleet.
