NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE, Ontario — Niagara Classic Transport and Coventry Connections, two of the largest operators in the Niagara region, have teamed up to create NCT Elite Car Services, a premium “black car” transportation service for the area.
The partnership is an interesting one, as Niagara Classic and Ottawa-based Coventry Connections are competitors in a highly competitive market. Coventry Connections entered the Niagara region with purchases of Central and 5-0 taxi companies.
Hanif Patni, CEO Coventry Connections, Marc Andre Way, COO Coventry Connections, Matthew Mole, COO Niagara Classic Transport, David Mole President Niagara Classic Transport, have joined forces to create NCT Elite Car Services, a black car option for travelers in the Niagara region.
Hanif Patni, Coventry Connections president and CEO, said that his company chose to branch out into the Niagara region because it’s a growing area. The addition of this new black car service is an extension of that, and partnering up with Niagara Classic is a move that will allow both companies to do more with the service than they could have done alone, he said.
“NCT Elite Car Services has a very simple vision – to bring the same level of service to Niagara that a client would expect in larger cities like Toronto, New York, Boston, etc.,” David Mole, president and CEO of Niagara Classic Transport, told LCT. “We are building an impressive fleet of premium sedans, [including] Cadillac, Chrysler, Lincoln and hybrids. The fleet is now about 40 black cars but will be building to 65.”
Coventry Connections will operate the fleet and Niagara Classic will be assisting in partnership, communications and marketing, Mole said.
NCT Elite Car Services will offer vehicles that include client-accessible GPS tracking of cars. Services will be provided for all major and regional airports between Buffalo, Niagara, Hamilton and Toronto, and for other general private use.
