DULLES, Va. — A Reston Limousine bus (www.restonlimo.com) was selected by the Virginia Tourism Corporation as an official transportation vehicle during its October designation of Virginia Wine Month and the “Discover Your Local Crush” promotion, held with Whole Foods Market.

Picking up passengers in Northern Virginia and in Richmond, the Reston Limousine deluxe, 30-seat bus provided visits to Loudoun County wineries and a trip along the wine trail in the Charlottesville area during the Oct. 27-28 weekend. Outfitted in an eye-catching, colorful custom wrap, Reston Limousine’s vehicle became the Virginia Crush Bus, branded with the promotional campaign’s panoramic image of vineyards and the Tourism Corporation website information.

Following the Piedmont area wine trails in Virginia is not a new adventure for Reston Limousine, an award-winning Washington, D.C. area limousine and shuttle service provider. President and CEO Kristina Bouweiri, launched Reston Limousine’s private and group Wine Country Tours several years ago, providing transporation packages complete with boxed lunches, to selected wineries from designated pick-up points.

The Commonwealth’s more than 200 wineries have taken on significance as a rapidly expanding economic presence for Virgina and its tourism market. Wine Enthusiast magazine lists Virginia as one of the 10 top wine travel destinations for 2012, and it ranks fifth in the nation for wine grape production.

With 250 employees and a 170-vehicle fleet, including buses, vans, limousines, and sedans, Reston Limousine serves the metropolitan area from headquarters in the Dulles corridor and a satellite location in Capitol Heights, Md.
