DALLAS — Transportation Management Services Inc. (TMS) has acquired certain assets and operations of Coach America Holdings, Inc., and merged the acquired assets into its Horizon Coach Lines and Cabana Coaches operations.

The combined entity is now one of the largest privately-owned charter and tour bus operators in the country, operating more than 1,200 vehicles.

TMS has acquired operations in 15 markets: Los Angeles; San Francisco; San Diego; Phoenix; Las Vegas; Denver; Houston; Miami; West Palm Beach; Orlando; Jacksonville, FL; Charlotte; Winston-Salem; Raleigh-Durham; and Jacksonville, NC.
