Middletown, Pa. — The Central Penn Business Journal has named Middletown, Pa.-based Premiere #1 Limousine Service as a finalist for its prestigious Business of the Year Awards in the “1-50 Employees” category. The ninth annual awards gala will be held on November 1, 2012, at the Hilton Harrisburg.

The Business of the Year awards recognize companies and business leaders who create jobs, contribute to the community and bolster the economic strength of the region. Premiere is one of seven finalists in its category.

“Regardless of the outcome, we are honored to be recognized as a finalist for our contributions to the Central Pennsylvania community,” said Douglas Rydbom, CEO of Premiere #1 Limousine Service.

To be eligible for the awards, businesses must be privately held, for-profit entities that have headquarters or significant operations in the Pa. counties of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry, or York. Companies submitted a nomination application that was reviewed and scored by a panel of independent judges from the local business community.

A special publication profiling each of the honorees will be distributed at the black-tie awards gala and inserted in the November 9 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal.

The 2012 Business of the Year Awards are presented by Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney and are sponsored by M&T Bank, McKonly & Asbury, Capital BlueCross, Comcast Business Class and FGV Media.

Premiere #1 Limousine Service provides chauffeured luxury transportation to the Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Washington, D.C. markets. The company recently added a new 40-passenger Tiffany motorcoach and operates a fleet of 24 vehicles that include luxury sedans, stretch limousines, stretch SUV limos, executive vans, party bus, minibus and motorcoaches.
