Austin, Texas operator Paul Arcediano recently invested in four MCI motorcoach buses to handle a growing special events group transportation business.
AUSTIN, Texas — R&R Limousine & Bus recently bought four new 57- seat motorcoaches, which brings R&R’s fleet of sedans, limousines, SUVs, mini-buses, motorcoaches, and party buses to more than 75 vehicles.
The coaches are part of R&R Limo’s preparation for the upcoming Formula One races and the opening of the Circuit of the Americas track in November, which is expected to bring anywhere from 90,000 to 200,000 people to Austin each year.
The four new 2012 model year MCI J4500 coaches were bought from MCI dealer Brian Hill in Dallas.
“R&R Limo has been anticipating and preparing for this transportation surge for the last couple of years,” said owner/operator Paul Arcediano. Part of this preparation included a recent move to a 6.5 acre location on U.S. Highway 183 near the track and also adding to the fleet.
Handling major events and crowds is nothing new for the company, which has been the official go-to transportation company for Austin’s SXSW music, film and interactive festival, one of the largest festivals in the country. They also have provided transportation for the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
The company has grown significantly over the past five years, having acquired San Antonio’s A-1 limo company in March, (having acquired A-1 division in Austin last year), and in February received certification by the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) as an official carrier in their Military Bus Program, of which there are only 400 companies nationwide.

About R&R Limousine & Bus
Austin resident Paul Arcediano started Rockin’ Ride in 2004. In 2007, he discovered an unmet need in the Austin market for a locally run, full service transportation company that values client relationships, safety and the experience of each and every passenger. Having identified this need, he expanded the company’s focus to include a full line of vehicles creating a new division, R&R Limousine & Bus. R&R quickly secured large accounts in the corporate and hospitality markets as well as becoming the go-to company for large destination management coordinators and consultants in Austin. Adding to its fleet on a regular basis, R&R is able to accommodate the growing demand for its service with a diverse fleet of vehicles in Central Texas that has everything from sedans to limousines, mini-buses, motorcoaches, and even Rockin’ Ride Party Buses.
