RANDOLPH, Mass. — Exceptional Limo, a division of ETS International, has been chosen as the official ground transportation company for the Pawtucket Red Sox for the 2012 season. In its capacity as a PawSox partner, Exceptional Limo will handle all ground transportation needs for team executives, players and other team personnel. ETS International is the ground transportation sponsor of the Providence Bruins.
“It’s going to be a great year for the local team and we’re excited to play a part in it,” says John M. Greene, president of ETS International. “The Pawtucket Red Sox are an integral part of the fabric of this area, and to be associated with them raises our company to an even higher level of visibility in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. We are pleased to have our newest acquisition, Exceptional Limo, as part of the PawSox team.”
“The first time I met Johnny Greene I was struck by his energy, his engaging nature and his pleasant, down-to-earth persona,” said Michael J. Abramson, director of corporate sales for the Pawtucket Red Sox. “As our partnership and friendship has grown, I have also been impressed by his creative business mind and attention to detail. We’re excited to have ETS International as part of our team.”
In January, ETS Interntaional bought Exceptional Limo, based in Milford, Mass., which was formed six years ago by company president Eric Tonkonogy. In that time it has emerged as one of the Boston-area’s leading providers of transportation services for the wedding, concert and ”night-on-the-town” clientele. Exceptional Limo continues to operate out of the same location, retaining its name and all employees. ETS International has incorporated its vehicles, resources and technology, and its extensive national affiliation network, to broaden Exceptional Limo’s reach.
ETS International, a 2010 LCT Operator of the Year Award winner, runs a fleet of luxury sedans, SUVs, limousines and executive vans in the Boston, Manchester, N.H., and Providence, R.I. area, and a global network that services cities worldwide.
