DALLAS — Premier Transportation, one of the largest ground transportation providers in the Dallas area, reached $50 million in lifetime corporate revenues last month.
Founded in 1996, Premier began with two vehicles and three employees. Total revenue that first year was $65,000. In December 2011, Premier total revenues since 1996 surpassed the $50 million mark. Averaged over 15 years, that comes to annualized revenues of about $3.13 million.

“I'm incredibly proud of what we've been able to achieve in our 16-year history,” noted Eric Devlin, President and founder of Premier. “It's taken a lot of hard work from our entire staff, and the support of hundreds of loyal customers from all over the world."

Premier employs more than 70 chauffeurs and office staff, and operates a fleet of 54 vehicles. Premier's services range from sedan airport transfers for one, to limousine services for wedding parties, to shuttle bus service for corporate events for dozens. Year-over-year revenue growth has remained consistent throughout the company's 16 years of operation, with an average annual growth rate of 13-16%. 2011 surpassed this average with growth of nearly 20% compared to 2010, due in part to an additional boost of $700,000 in Super Bowl XLV revenues in February 2011.
Premier's success is evident not only on the balance sheet, but in local, national and industry recognition. Premier was named 2009 National Operator of the Year by LCT Magazine.
Premier also has been named 2012 Bride’s Choice by Wedding Wire and the 2010 My Favorite Vendor for wedding transportation by the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners, as well as earning the Readers' Choice Award for Best Transportation by the Plano Star Courier, and being named one of the 100 Largest Fleets in the U.S. Various local and national organizations also have recognized Premier, including The Knot, DFW Consumers' Choice, Merchant Circle, Best of Texas, and many others.

“Another source of pride for Premier is our active involvement in our community, and support of various charitable and educational causes,” Devlin said. Premier is a consistent contributor of cash and services to numerous local and national charities, including Make a Wish Foundation, United Way, Interfaith Housing Coalition, Scottish Rite hospital, Shelton School, Hyer Elementary School, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Covenant School, Community Food Bank, and many others.
