MALVERN, Penn. — In response to the rise in corporate travel, Celebrity Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation based in Malvern is hosting its first ever “American Idol” style Job Fair at the Desmond Hotel & Convention Center on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Celebrity has grown in the last quarter, seeing a high volume of business travel from the financial and pharmaceutical sectors and is recruiting 10-15 chauffeurs and motorcoach drivers to meet the demand. In addition to staffing up, Celebrity has added five sedans to its fleet, bringing the total to 55 vehicles. It also has just added a second 57-passenger motor coach to its fleet, which is already strong with future bookings for the holidays and the first quarter of next year.

“We are experiencing heavy traffic from certain sectors that are running above the current economic growth rate, so we have added fleet to serve our clientele most efficiently, and now are seeking qualified personnel to fill out our award-winning team,” CEO Dennis Adams said in a statement.

The interview process will consist of four steps, which the prospective employees will “qualify” through to make it to the next stage, culminating in a final interview from the “panel of judges” to be comprised of three members of management and one senior chauffeur.

“We think this process will allow the applicants to really get a chance to show us their strengths, and ultimately, we will be assured of hiring the best talent to fill these positions,” Adams said.

Serving greater metro Philadelphia and Wilmington, Del., Celebrity specializes in complete chauffeured service, from booking, on-time pick up and professionally-trained chauffeurs, to new, clean, comfortable vehicles for every trip.

Celebrity also celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
