BUELLTON, Calif. — Serenity Limousines and the Santa Ynez Valley Marriott recently made an exclusive arrangement that allows the operation to staff a transportation desk inside the hotel lobby.
Serenity Limousines, owned by Chris Hecker of Hecker Transportation, will provide all types of chauffeured transportation services for guests staying at the 149-room hotel, the largest in the valley. Just three miles west of the Danish town of Solvang, the Marriott is centered in the world-renowned Santa Ynez Valley wine region and stands along U.S. 101 about 30 miles northwest of Santa Barbara. The valley region has 80 vineyards and wineries, a casino, cycling races, horseback riding, and championship golf courses.
The hotel averages about 4,000 guests per month. Hecker estimates the contract will generate about 25-55 chauffeured runs per week, depending on seasonal trends.
“We’ll provide wine tours, corporate event service, airport transfers, dinner trips, special events and many other services,” Hecker said in a press release. “The guests of the Marriott will find staff of Serenity Limousines inside the lobby of the hotel at a temporary location until an on-site office is built at the front of the hotel, which will be the permanent office location for Serenity Limousines.”
In addition to limousine service and corporate transportation, Serenity provides messenger service, shipping, restaurant reservations, secretarial services, shopping information, theater service and travel arrangements, among others, Hecker said.
Serenity Limousines also offers a full-service concierge. To view all of the services it offers, visit www.serenitylimo.com and click on “Concierge.”
