LCT Fast40 To Contrast Old-School/New-School Tactics

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. -- The latest LCT Fast40 session slated for the LCT Leadership Summit will examine how aspects of limousine businesses that were done in the “old-school” way can be adapted to “new-school” technology and techniques.

The session, to be held Tuesday, May 19 at 11:15 a.m. at the Eden Roc Hotel, will feature a new group of panelists with experience in the limo industry and an eye for innovation.

One "new school" method is understanding and tapping Millennial generation buying habits and trends. Companies can sharpen their marketing efforts by focusing on Millennials as a single demographic market segment and digging deeper into their preferences, lifestyles, and consumer habits. A recent study from JP Morgan Chase, for example, finds that Millennial travelers are the most likely to spend money on hotel luxury services such as dry cleaning, massages or spa services, and pet accommodations.

Technology plays a bigger role than before in segmenting such clients and identifying their consumer sweet spots. Chauffeured operations can use the data to better sell their services and promote their brands, as do other travel sector businesses that study client behaviors.

Panelists also will cover social media best practices and explain how operators can attract younger Millennial-age chauffeurs who are qualified for top-level work.
