HOUSTON, Texas — NIKKO’S WORLDWIDE recently exhibited at the 1st Annual Houston Reunions Trade Show produced by the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau (GHCVB) on March 20, 2010 at the Intercontinental Hotel Houston.

This trade show was the first of its kind in Houston aimed at educating reunion planners on Houston’s attributes and choice of vendors.

“We feel this is a niche market that is quite overlooked in today’s meeting and events industry,” Matt Assolin said. “More than ever, with conventions watching their budgets, this is a facet of the business that has exponential growth opportunities if marketed correctly. We have to remember that we are not dealing with professional meeting planners and that you have to have more understanding of who you are working with because sometimes you are there to offer guidance as well.”

The event was well received with more than 200 attendees. Other vendors included hotels, DJ services, meeting venues and restaurants.

“So far, we have had some very good feedback and are starting to get people to call for more information,” Assolin said. “I believe our decision to exhibit our Vanterra to show the luxury we have to offer was the right decision.”

NIKKO’S WORLDWIDE was established in 1982 and is a worldwide chauffeured service that caters its services to the high end executive and corporate markets worldwide. Headquartered in Houston, Nikko’s continues to set the standard for customer service.
