The New Jersey company run by operator Alex Mayer marks two decades in the chauffeured transportation business.

CLINTON, N.J. — AAA Guaranteed On-Time Limousine Service of Clinton has changed its name to AAA Worldwide Transportation, reflecting its expanded services nationally and internationally.

“After almost 20 years in business, we decided a name change was in order because we are now a global company,” said Alex J. Mayer, General Manger/Partner. “We are still the same local company that guarantees to be on time or your next ride is free, but we now can fulfill our clients ground transportation needs throughout the world.”

AAA WORLDWIDE TRANSPORTATION has established an international network of partners worldwide who all adhere to its standards for quality and service. Partners in the network must maintain a client satisfaction rate of 99% to remain active participants.

“Through our international network, we can manage a client’s ground transportation needs around the globe,” said Mayer, an Alexandria Township resident. “The advantage to our clients is that they can satisfy their transportation needs in multiple states and countries with one telephone call. And all of the partners in our network will be evaluated for quality and service on a continual basis, so our clients know they will get the same AAA service regardless of whether it is in Hunterdon County or another nation.”

AAA WORLDWIDE TRANSPORTATION was founded in 1991 and is owned and managed by Ken Schapiro of Alexandria Township, Steve Tipping of High Bridge and Mayer. In addition to a new name, the company also has a new Web site – www.aaaworldwidetrans.com.
