NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Silver Oak Global Transportation, based in Nashville with operations in Little Rock, Ark., has been named the official chauffeured transportation provider for The Vinny Pro-Celebrity Invitational to be held May 16-18 at The Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs.

The Vinny was established in 1993 to help support junior golf programs throughout Tennessee and encourage boys and girls to become involved in positive and rewarding programs. The event, which has been hosted by country music legend Vince Gill for the past 13 years, has raised more than $3 million for the junior golf programs.

This is the second year that Silver Oak Transportation has been a sponsor of the tournament. “We are proud to be a part of this amazing event,” said Bill Faeth, president and CEO of Silver Oak Transportation and a finalist in LCT’s 2009 Operator of the Year Awards. “The work The Vinny does for underprivileged children is very commendable and close to our heart.”

Along with providing chauffeured transportation, Silver Oak is also sponsoring the 10th hole on the course. “The first amateur player to make a hole-in-one on the 10th hole will receive $20,000 in chauffeured transportation from Silver Oak valid anywhere in the world,” Faeth said.

The Pro-Celebrity tournament will include such celebrities as Arnold Palmer, Marty Roe, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Scott Hamilton, Nancy Lopez, and Tom Watson.
