GET TOUGH, GET ON BOARD @ LCT EAST

Posted on May 6, 2009 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

TORRANCE, Calif. — The fifth annual LCT Eastern Conference on Oct. 7-8 promises to pack industry punch like never before.

LCT has listened to operators — we’ve revamped the approach and format of the premier East Coast industry event into the perfect powerhouse for these interesting times. In fact, if you had to pick one East Coast industry event this year, LCT East will deliver the best overall value in networking, connections, up-to-date know-how, exhibitors and suppliers, and success strategies for the long haul.

Come hang with the industry movers, shakers, and smoothies at a riverside, autumn resort in the woods of New England. LCT East will he held at the relaxing Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Uncasville, Conn. — about halfway between the New York and Boston metro regions. We’ve also heard West Coasters are coming as well.

Don’t take our word for it — check out the new LCT EAST WEBSITE, which has a complete rundown and description of our “Get Tough” ass-kicker of an agenda.

Some of the new website features include:

• Scrolling breaking news area on the home page

• A web form to join our enews list

• Product spotlight area on the home page

• Free downloads page

• Attendee planning guide

• Glossary • Printer-friendly web pages

• Approximate registration costs in Canadian dollars and Euros

• Travel planning helper

• Registration access matrix

In the coming weeks, we are going to add even more functionality, so look out for:

• A search bar to easily browse LCTEAST.com

• An online form to purchase exhibit space

• Audio files of past presentations

• An online guest book

• Guide for newbies/first timers

• Meet the committee page

• Look book of people to know

LCT Magazine is also calling out our Canadian friends to mingle with American operators among the scenic fall environs and comfortable resort environment. LCT is offering sessions tailored to the issues and developments on the Canadian chauffeured frontier. Besides, we all miss those Toronto times last summer.

As the economy looks to bottom out in the next quarter or so, you’ll need to cash in on the upswing this fall. What’s more, LCT East will be the last significant industry event of the decade. What better way to prepare for success in 2010.
