Sterling Rose Limousines Buys Los Angeles-Area Operator

TEMECULA, Calif. — Sterling Rose Limousines, an LCT 2008 Operator of the Year Award winner, recently closed a deal to buy Lincoln Limousine of City of Industry, Calif.

Sterling bought the rights to the company and its customer base, but not the vehicles, said Steve Levin, owner of Sterling Rose Limousines. Sterling’s 14 vehicles will handle the customer demand from the former Lincoln Limousine. Lincoln, an 11-vehicle company, was owned by operator Gerardo Ortiz for the last 20 years. The deal closed in late August.

Sterling Rose picks up Lincoln’s contract as the exclusive operator serving the extensive Pacific Palms Resort in the City of Industry. The four-star golf resort sits on a hilltop set against the San Gabriel Mountains east of Los Angeles. It is a full-service, destination resort for both leisure and business travelers with its 650 acres, 292 guest rooms, and conference center and spa.

Levin and his wife, Heidi, founded Sterling Rose in 2005 after buying a local Temecula limousine company. This is Sterling’s third acquisition since then. Its service region now extends to four counties in Southern California: San Diego, Orange, Riverside, and Los Angeles. Sterling also is the primary luxury transportation provider to the Sheraton Resort in Carlsbad, Calif.
