Premiere Adds New Shuttle Service to Newark Airport

ALBANY, N.Y. – Premiere Transportation Group will begin offering daily shuttle service to Newark Liberty International Airport, starting on Sept. 1 – the first regularly scheduled round-trip transportation to the New Jersey airport.

“We’ve been considering the addition of this service for some time,” said Premiere President David Brown. “With the current gas prices,” Mr. Brown said, “we’ve had numerous requests for this service showing that, indeed, there is a demand.”

The shuttle will leave at 10:30 a.m. daily from Albany International Airport. The shuttle also will make stops in Catskill and Kingston, arriving in Newark at 2:00 p.m. The Newark shuttle departs for Albany at 5:30 p.m. daily. The fare to Newark is $60 per person.

The new service to Newark is in addition to the current Premiere shuttle service to John F. Kennedy International and LaGuardia airports.

“This service has seen an increased number of passengers in recent months, again because of gasoline prices,” Mr. Brown said.

The JFK and LaGuardia service leaves daily at 9:30 a.m. from Albany International Airport, with stops in Catskill, Kingston, New Paltz, and Newburgh. The shuttle arrives at LaGuardia at 1:00 p.m. and at JFK at 2:00 p.m., with the return shuttle to Albany leaving JFK at 6:30 p.m. and LaGuardia at 7:15 p.m. The fare for the JFK and LaGuardia shuttle is $65 from Albany.
