SAN DIEGO – Jon Chester, 57, president of the Greater
California Livery Association and owner of Limousines by
Linda in San Diego died after a long battle with cancer.
Chester, a San Diego native, was the father of two children.
Chester was a practicing attorney with an Ivy League
education (University of Pennsylvania) who entered the
limousine industry in 1990. Limousines by Linda evolved
into a 25-vehicle fleet operation with nearly $3 million in
Chester, who also was active in the Taxicab Limousine &
Paratransit Association, and the National Limousine
