Bill Cunningham Will Be on Extreme Makeover TV Show

Posted on February 27, 2008 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

MAYNARD, Mass. — As many of you may already be aware, ABC's hit TV show Extreme Makeover Home Edition has come to Maynard to help a local family in time of need. For the next seven days, the EMHE crew along with hundreds of volunteers will be working around-the-clock to build a new home for the Giunta family whose lives were devastated by a car accident on March 2006. As part of giving back to our local community, Mark and I are very proud to represent Maynard businesses and offer the services of Christopher's Restaurant and Wine Bar.

On Wednesday, Feb. 27th, Christopher's will cater a dinner for over 150 friends and family members of the recipient family, the Giuntas. Mark and I have long been fans of the show (as we are certain many of you are also) and have hoped for an opportunity to become part of an episode. We are very excited to have been approached by the ABC staff not only to host the dinner, but to be working members of the construction crew. We don our hard hats and work boots on Monday to join the thousands of volunteers who have pledged to participate in the completion of the new Guinta 'home' in time for their arrival.

For any of you seeking additional information about this program, the worthy family, or the sponsors involved please see the links at www.townofmaynard-ma.gov or www.extremehomema2008.com. We will send a follow-up email when a date of airing has been determined. We thank you for your continued support of Christopher's Restaurant.
