Limousine Businesses in Fort Collins Reap Benefits of World Series

FT. COLLINS, Colo. — Local limousine companies reported an increase in interest and bookings in Fort Collins, Colo. while the World Series was held earlier this week.

"The limo business is kind of unusual," said Annie Johnson, owner of AA Limousine Services, of the last-minute calls she gets for limousine service. "You think people (plan) ahead, but they don't."

Jacki Kramer, owner of TLC Limousines, also expected more calls during the games. She tried to make each ride unique, adding purple and silver napkins and baseball memorabilia to the vehicles. Customers liked not having to fight traffic on Interstate 25, pay for parking, or risk drinking and driving.

"We all want to be safe and we all want to have a good time," she said.
