LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas resident Michael Hughes has signed an
initial contract with Binion’s Horseshoe in downtown Las
Vegas for a building-to-building car jump to take place
within the next few months.
The 94-foot jump over Ogden Street with a six-passenger
limousine will take place from one seven-story parking
garage to an adjacent parking garage. The runway to gain
the needed speed to clear the distance is 380 feet, which
includes a 50-foot ramp needed to launch the limousine over
the 94-foot distance.
Hughes currently holds the Guinness world record for the
longest limousine ramp jump at 103 feet, set in Perris,
Calif., in 2002.
