BostonCoach Hires New CEO From Navigant

EVERETT, MASS. – Chauffeured transportation services provider BostonCoach announced that former Navigant Performance Group President Jonathan Danforth has filled the spot of president/CEO left vacant by Russell Cooke's retirement last spring.

Following more than two years at the helm of TQ3Navigant's meetings and incentive management arm, Danforth "will spearhead the company's growth through new strategic initiatives," the BostonCoach said in a statement.

Before joining TQ3Navigant, Danforth founded Incentive Strategies, a sales incentive company, and Destination Management, a meeting planning company, and later merged the two into Cornerstone, which was sold to Navigant in 1999.

"Jonathan has a proven track record of growing and expanding successful businesses," Paul Mucci, president of BostonCoach's parent company, Fidelity Capital, said in a statement. "He brings a unique and impressive skill set that directly supports BostonCoach's launch into a new era of aggressive growth."

Business Travel News named Cooke one of the 25 Most Influential Executives of 2000 and 2004 for pioneering automated booking tools and bolstering service levels in the ground transportation industry.
