GAINESVILLE, FLA. -- In an effort to encourage operators to help set guidelines for their business operations and to take more pride in their work, Sander Kaplan, owner of A Candie’s Production in Gainesville, Fla., is forming a North Central Florida limousine association that would include Gainesville, Ocala, Lake City and surrounding areas.

Kaplan, a 19-year industry veteran and a finalist in this year’s LCT Operator of the Year Awards, is looking to tap the knowledge of anyone who has been involved in starting up an association. Kaplan would also like to hear from operators in North Central Florida who would be interested in joining. You can contact Kaplan at (352) 332-4334 or e- mail him at K_sander@bellsouth.net.
