BostonCoach to Offer Flat-rate Pricing for Van Services

Posted on March 24, 2004 by LCT Staff - Also by this author - About the author

EVERETT, Mass. – BostonCoach said it will offer flat-rate pricing on its van services in Boston, Philadelphia and New York.

The point-to-point pricing will be available to and from the downtown areas and to and from the airports.

The company also said it will offer point-to-point pricing for its limousine service in New York. Previously, point-to-point pricing was only available for BostonCoach’s sedan services.

“Point-to-point pricing provides customers with certainty about the cost of their trips,” said BostonCoach President Russ Cooke. “By pricing our van service this way, customers who require a larger vehicle due to additional passengers or excess luggage receive the same benefits as our executive sedan customers.

The flat rate for a 14-passenger Ford E-Series van is about 50% more than the cost of a sedan. The rate from downtown Boston to Logan Airport is $77.42, not including service fees, tolls or parking. The rate from New York’s Kennedy Airport to downtown Manhattan is $148.50.
