BOSTON — Commonwealth Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation recently announced that Norman Hamel has joined its team as senior vice president of sales. With an array of sales successes, Hamel will lead the company’s sales team to enhance Commonwealth’s record of growth over the last 10 years.

Most recently, Hamel was vice president of sales for Burst Media, where he rebuilt the internal sales team that achieved sales goals throughout his tenure. Prior to Burst Media, Hamel was a star performer at Monster.com, rising from senior account manager to director of sales, opening the European Sales Center in Glasgow, Scotland, and ultimately holding the position of vice president of Channel Sales.

In all of his roles at Monster.com, Hamel and his teams outperformed expectations, generating tens of millions of dollars in revenue. Hamel’s 20+ years of sales and sales management experience includes positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Great American Software, BASF Corporation, and Wang Laboratories, where he consistently met or exceeded sales goals and earned numerous awards for stellar performance.

Commonwealth Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation has achieved success throughout Boston, New York, and other metropolitan areas with its premium service.
