UNCASVILLE, Conn. — The second annual LCT Eastern Conference earned its place in successful LCT events with an attendance that doubled last year’s inaugural conference. Attendees arrived from more than 30 states and from other countries, including Canada, Brazil, Iran and the United Kingdom.
“The conference was a definite success,” said Michael Pazzaneze, New England Livery Association’s (NELA) president. “The attendees were energized and showed a lot of participation in the seminars. And there was great activity on the exhibitor floor.” First-time attendee Samantha Baker from Huntsville, Ala. was among those impressed.
“LCT East was even more than I expected,” she said. “The educational seminars were fantastic, and the networking opportunities were everywhere.”
The attendees were not the only people who achieved great results from the conference. Vendors were provided with a fantastic face-to-face meeting opportunity with industry decision-makers. One coachbuilder boasted more than $1 million in show related sales and a software vendor saw more than $200,000 in sales. At the closing of LCT East, one phrase seemed to echo throughout the crowd —
“See you at next year’s event.”
