PHILADELPHIA – Operators from the Philadelphia Regional Limousine Association and the South Jersey Limousine Association are donating gifts to children at two area hospitals. Patients at Temple University Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia and Virtua Health Systems in Voorhees, N.J., will feel the warmth of the holiday season when operators, many dressed in Santa suits, will deliver toys.
This is the third year the PRLA has raised donations for its “Limos By Santa” campaign. Participating companies will meet in Center City Philadelphia on the morning of Dec. 23, and a procession of limousines will travel up Broad Street to Temple Children’s Hospital. Each year, local newspapers, television and radio stations cover the event.
Led by the Monte Carlo Family, owners of A. Monte Carlo Limousine Service of Woodbury, N.J., the SJLA’s toy delivery will take place Dec. 24.
Both groups are asking for toys and financial contributions.
